ABOUT ME

I'm Dollie Nicholson working with accomplished professionals at Samson Properties.
Why did I become a real estate professional?
I learned a hard lesson in 2007 when some shady lenders tricked me into a loan that caused my payments to skyrocket, making them impossible to keep up with. I was freaked out and angry, but I used those emotions to turn things around. Fortunately, I obtained a loan modification that helped me out, but the experience left a lasting impact.
Determined to prevent others from going through what I did, I immersed myself in learning everything about real estate and lending practices. I wanted to be a trustworthy guide, ensuring that my clients made informed decisions and avoided the pitfalls I had encountered. My passion for helping others navigate the complex world of real estate grew stronger every day.
I built my career on the principles of honesty, transparency, and dedication. Each client I helped reminded me why I started this journey in the first place. I found immense satisfaction in seeing their joy and relief when they found their dream home or successfully sold their property.
Today, I stand proud as a REALTOR who turned a personal ordeal into a professional mission. I am committed to making a positive difference in my clients' lives. My experiences have made me a better advocate and advisor for helping people grow wealth through real estate, and I continue to learn and grow in this ever-changing industry.

Where do I live?
I've lived in Montgomery County, MD, for over 40 years and raised my son in Germantown, a vibrant community known for its beautiful lakes, farms, fresh food markets, sporting venues, and welcoming neighbors. I know Germantown and the county inside and out.
What's my favorite restaurant?
My home is the best place to enjoy a yummy meal. I love cooking with fresh and organic ingredients that I get from nearby farms and markets. I like to try out different recipes and cuisines and make dishes that are healthy and tasty.
Something people are surprised to learn about me?
I like photography. It's a hobby that lets me capture the beauty of the world and show my creativity. I like taking pictures of landscapes, portraits, wildlife, and abstract. I find photography to be a fun and relaxing activity that makes my life better.
